Well, it’s not REALLY the end of summer, is it?
Summers End Folk Festival is situated on the small island of Grand Manan, nestled in the south western corner of New Brunswick, Canada – the SEFF is a festival founded on creativity, the arts and bringing music into the community of Grand Manan.
Summers End Folk Festival, now headed into its eighth year was started with the hopes of being the basis of many ongoing opportunities and beginnings in the arts community on the Island. At the heart of the festival you’ll find two things, a love for good music as well as the people of this community. This is our way of trying to do something positive and beautiful within the community.
Summers End is a festival spanning two days (August 18 + 19, 2017). We host a wide range of performers both new and established. This years festival will consist of 10-15 performers over two nights in an intimate outdoor setting, just
steps away from the ocean.
The festival attracts anywhere from 400 – 600 attendees, both local and from abroad – for many people this is a chance to take in both amazing artists as well as some of the most beautiful scenery eastern Canada has to offer (the bay of Fundy is one of the seven wonders of the world!).
