PET ADDENDUM

Any GUEST wishing to bring dogs to our vacation rental property must abide by the rules

outlined in this Addendum, the primary purpose of which is to ensure that safe and sanitary

surroundings are provided for all GUESTS, visitors and the OWNER or Owner’s employees, to

protect the physical integrity of the property, and to protect and provide for the well-being of the

dogs themselves.

All dogs must be restrained by leash or complete voice control on the grounds of the Property.

Dogs are not permitted to roam off the property. If one legitimate complaint is received from a

neighbor regarding a roaming or noisy dog we will give you one warning. If we get a second

complaint, the dog may be asked to leave immediately. Permission to keep a dog at the

Property is granted at the sole discretion of the OWNER and will be based in part on the dog’s

own merit, as well as the GUEST’s ability to maintain control over it. Unauthorized dogs,

including dogs of visitors or invitees, will not be allowed in the property, even on a temporary

basis without permission from the OWNER.

Types of Dog(s): Dogs permitted at and approved to vacate at this Property are at a cost of

$100 per week per dog.

–Any dog waste deposited on the property should be cleaned up by the GUEST and disposed

of in tight plastic bags.

–No bathing of dogs on the property (use the outdoor faucet for rinsing muddy dogs).

–No wet dogs inside the house

—Dogs must never be left alone in the house more than two hours.

–All dogs must be on a flea and tick deterrent, such as Frontline starting at least 15 days prior

to arrival at the property.

— DOG OWNER ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY FOR ACTIONS OF

THEIR ANIMAL DURING THEIR STAY AT RENTAL COTTAGE AND HOLDS GARY AND MARIA

LAMB HARMLESS FOR ANY AND ALL ACTIONS OF THE ANIMAL(S). THE PROPERTY

OWNERS AND ALL OF THE PROPERTY OWNERS’ EMPLOYEES WILL NOT BE HELD

LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE ANIMAL TO PROPERTY OR THE HEALTH

AND SAFETY OF ANY PERSONS OR OTHER ANIMALS, ON OR OFF PREMISES DURING

THE RENTAL AGREEMENT PERIOD. RENTER ASSUMES ALL LIABILITY OF SUCH.

–Dog owner must send proof of current rabies vaccine six weeks prior to stay at the property.

If a dog is found to be in violations of any of these conditions and the GUEST and OWNER

aren’t able to come up with a suitable resolution, the dog will be asked to leave the property

immediately. GUEST agrees to be in Breach of the Rental Agreement if they fail to remove the

dog from the property immediately after being found in violation of this addendum and may be

subject to all of the covenants of the Breach of Rental Agreement policy.
