You just can’t think of Maine without thinking of fresh-from-the-ocean lobster.  And getting lobster that was caught just hours before can’t be beat.  Our very favorite lobster shack is Mother Shucker’s in Roque Bluffs.  Nadine, aka. Mother Shucker, is a one-woman operation selling lobsters (alive and kickin’ to-go only) that her husband brings home from a day out on the boat. Call in advance because she often sells out and bring cash.  Also make sure that you purchase your butter and lemon and other accoutrements beforehand because she sells lobster and lobster alone.  Open seasonally.  (207) 259-1254
